Speed bag training to fight Parkinson’s disease

I first stumbled across Dr. David H. Blatt’s website http://www.exerciseforparkinsons.com when I was searching for information about skiing and Parkinson’s. He has a number of interesting videos on his YouTube channel. But, this video is on a YouTube Channel of his friend Mark Smith.

Check it out:

David has posted additional commentary on his website:

I’m currently very intrigued by this. I’m taking a Kickboxing for Parkinson’s class locally, so I’m showing up a little early to try some speed bag work.

Exercise is something you have to do for yourself. No one else can exercise for you and no pills can do for you what exercise does for you. There is no such thing as an exercise pill.

Here’s another speed bag video from his channel:

Am I slowing progression of Parkinson’s disease by training with a boxing speed bag?
